About the Conference

ISCAMI primarily aims to unite young researchers and students, providing them with a platform to present their achievements and ideas in applied mathematics, informatics, and various related applications.

This conference is organised by the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, in collaboration with the Institute for Research and Applications of Fuzzy Modeling at the University of Ostrava, the Mathematical Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, and the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague.

The usual length of each talk is about 20 minutes, including discussion. The exact duration will be confirmed in the final programme.

The conference hall will be equipped with a computer and a whiteboard. A remote with a laser will be available. There will be Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader installed on the computers in the conference hall.

We do not guarantee anything related to other inappropriate presentation systems (such as MS PowerPoint). These systems cause many problems with compatibility among distinct versions and display symbols and special characters differently on various computers. If you insist on using anything else but PDF slides, we suggest you to bring your own notebook with you.

Conference Venue and Travel Information

Smolenice Castle

The conference takes place at Smolenice Castle, a picturesque location in the village of Smolenice, situated in the western part of Slovakia near Záruby, the highest peak of the Little Carpathians mountain range.

The official currency of Slovakia is Euro (eur, €).

Further travel details will be provided nearer to the conference date.

Visa information
The organising committee will not provide participants with an invitation letter on the official form of the alien police for the EU visa purposes. Furthermore, due to the storno fees we cannot risk any no-shows on the conference due to visa reasons. Therefore, all participants from countries with a visa obligation will be asked to send us a copy of their visa in order to make the registration valid!
